Dr. Nicholas Zuccala grew up in Commack and graduated from the University of Delaware with a major in Biology. He received his chiropractic degree (DC) from New York Chiropractic College in 1992, and opened his first Smithtown office in 1993. Dr. Zuccala holds post-graduate certifications in Sports Injuries and Muscle Release Technique. He believes education is never-ending, and he continues to take classes so that his patients can be assured of the finest chiropractic care.
For more than 24 years, Dr. Zuccala has treated thousands of patients, with conditions ranging from back pain to whiplash, scoliosis to sciatica, headaches to arthritis, and herniated discs to carpal tunnel syndrome. He specializes in difficult cases and welcomes new patients who have been living with chronic pain. Additionally, as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner, Dr. Zuccala enjoys working with athletes, military and first-responders to keep them in peak physical condition.
Dr. Nicholas Zuccala is a member of the Mather Hospital Chiropractic Collaboration Program which strives to provide exceptional, coordinated patient care, education and outreach. When medically necessary, Dr. Zuccala works with primary care doctors, pain specialists, and surgeons to get the best possible results for his patients.
